Whole Wheat Walnut Sticks


  • 4 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2/3 Cup Oil
  • 1 Tbs Salt
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Chopped Walnuts (or Sesame Seeds for Allergies)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 Cup Water


  1. Mix all ingredients well together
  2. Roll out dough to a 1/4 inch thickness
  3. Cut into strips 1/2 x 3 Inches
  4. Bake at *375 for 15 minutes


Must watch they burn easily Can be frozen and used at a later date or for the holidays

Growing up I cannot remember 1 supper without these sticks being served. My dad craved these things like crazy.

He would dip them everything sauces, food, soups. If you remember the Eggo commercial it was this very thing in my family “Let-GO-MyStick” moments πŸ™‚

Note** They burn easily so you MUST watch them
